インテリジェントインタリーブDMA(iiDMA)、デュアルリードDMA(DRDMA)、オーバーラッピングプロテクションドメイン(OPD)などの独自のネットワーク機能を搭載しました。
QLogic4Gbアダプタは、ファイバチャネルポートのレベルで行う仮想化でN_Port ID仮想化(NPIV)をサポートしており、複数のN_Port IDに対応することによって同じ物理ファイバチャネルポートを共有します。

概要


the QLogic 2400 Series adapters deliver unprecedented levels of 
performance and availability as well as intelligent networking features 
specific to enterprise-class data centers. the adapters provide intelligent 
storage networking features that redefine the enterprise-class adapter, 
providing increased data protection, advanced frame routing, and 
enterprise-wide management capabilities. additionally, the adapters 
support standards-based virtualization—N_port ID virtualization (NPIV).
